In this demonstration, Bea Apple will teach you how to get started with needle and thread to use the ancient Japanese craft of sashiko to add unique flair, and get that favorite shirt or jeans that you haven't been able to wear back into your closet rotation! This class is perfect for beginners! 

Bring some denim you need to mend or just want to add something decorative to!

About our Teacher

Bea Apple (b. 1979, she/her) is the founder of Hillfolk, a former electrical engineer, and a longtime resident of Bentonville, Arkansas. She is a lifelong crafter and textile artist, with an extensive history of entrepreneurship and advocacy in the Northwest Arkansas community.
