Learn needle felting and make a spooky skull with local artist, Dani Ives (@begoodnatured.) We’ll explore the art of Painting with Wool and learn two-dimensional, flat needle felting techniques for making wool images. This workshop is beginner friendly, and all skill and experience levels are welcome.
What you get:
- An introduction to foundational needle felting skills to get you started. You'll learn about supplies and tools, how to transfer a design to fabric, and the steps needed to start and complete a needle felted wool painting.
- Tips and demonstrations for color blending, creating fine details, creating textures, and adding highlights and shadows to your subject to give it depth.
- A supply kit that includes a felting foam pad, felting needles, wool felt background fabric, wool fibers in your choice of colors, 6 inch embroidery hoop, and a skull pattern
