Father’s Day Cyanotype Printing

Saturday, June 18th

1:00-3:30 PM

Join local artist & photographer Brandon Forrest Frederick and learn the historical photographic process of Cyanotype! This process dates back to the early to mid 1800s, and was originally used to study plants. Since then it has been used by generations of artists in a myriad of ways. Using soil, fresh spring & dried flowers and other natural debris, students will create land impressions on paper.

Each participant will have everything they need to create and develop two Cyanotype images and will leave the class with confidence in the photographic process. Students will learn the chemistry and coating process as well as how to expose and stabilize your Cyanotype images.

All class participants receive 15% off of any purchase made at Hillfolk on the day of the workshop.
